Spotlight on Selah: An Interview with our 2023 SRC President
In a recent interview, Selah Kelsey, the incoming President of the Student Representative Council (SRC) for 2023, expressed her enthusiasm for her role and dedication to serving her fellow students.
Selah, the only on-campus student on the SRC, acknowledged the challenge ahead but expressed her optimism.
“I’m a bit anxious as I’m not quite as confident as the other people on my team. However, I am determined to help and serve others,” Kelsey said.
She also highlighted the importance of communication and honesty in leading her team and her goal of reaching out to first-year students and providing support.
Selah seeks to build her confidence and leadership skills while helping her team to succeed.
“I want them to be outstanding in their jobs, even if it means outshining me. That is what I wish for them,” she shared.
With a servant-hearted attitude, Selah is passionate about using this opportunity to serve her fellow students and make the most out of her new role.
