The Critical Dialogues series returns in 2026 under the theme Echoes of the Past. This year's dialogue engages the question of transgenerational trauma in Cape Town, examining how the legacy of apartheid continues to shape individual and collective experience. It creates space for critical reflection on how historical injustice is remembered, embodied, and carried forward.
