ABOUT STUDENT
My name is Tarryn. I am studying my Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Intermediate Phase (IP) in order to pursue a career in education. I began my studies with a degree in Psychology and Criminology, where the child psychology module sparked my interest in teaching students. With my psychology background, I could not only teach but also work as an on-site counsellor at the school.
The main benefit for me in completing the PGCE is that it qualifies me to enter a career in education. I am passionate about providing children with attractive opportunities to learn, which is why I find this career choice so fulfilling.
I hope to inspire children and help them develop a love for learning. I believe that I have the passion, drive and commitment to make a difference to the children who I would teach. With my PGC, I would like to encourage children to dream big and realise their full potential.
