WHAT WILL BE COVERED IN THE WORKSHOP?

As health care professionals, our practise is based on relationships of mutual trust between patients/clients and health care practitioners. The term “profession” means “a dedication, promise or commitment publicly made”. Health care practitioners are required to make a life-long commitment to sound professional and ethical practices and an overriding dedication to the interests of one’s fellow human beings and society. To this end, psychologists work within a framework of principles that guide and inform their ethical and professional conduct.

An ethical therapist begins by being an ethical citizen! This workshop enables us to reflect on how ethical awareness is achieved. Through individual written tasks and group exercises we will increase and hone self-awareness as well as cultural sensitivity and personal growth.

Come willing to look deeply within…. But also to have fun.
