ABOUT Chewe Sakha Adjasi

Chewe Sakha Adjasi is a Finance and Development Expert with over 13 years of experience. She graduated from Stellenbosch University with an MA Development Finance (2011) and also has a BA Public Administration from University of Zambia (2004).

Chewe is currently a Fundraising Associate for Connect Network Christian Organisation and a Lecturer in Local Economic Development at Cornerstone University in Cape Town South Africa.

Prior to this Chewe had an extensive experience in the financial sector in Zambia, where she was Central Depository System and Marketing Officer at the Lusaka Stock Exchange. Before then she was a Stockbroker at Cavmont Capital Bank Zambia and also had a brief stint with Stanbic Bank Zambia.

Her vast breadth of experience has seen her also do some work on a part-time basis for Cause Enterprise Development Agency  South Africa  as a Project and Fund Manager, Celentano Real Estate Agency South Africa as a Marketing and Sales Executive and TSiBA South Africa University as  Lecturer in E- Marketing. Chewe’s current research interests and projects are focused on health literacy and skills development for women and children in marginalized communities and innovations for economic transformation in vulnerable communities.

She is married and is a mother of two children and currently based in Cape Town.
