Commemorate Youth Month

As we commemorate Youth Month and honour the young people of 1976 who laid down their lives, fighting for freedom and the right to equal education, we also reflect on the challenges faced by the current youth of South Africa. A declining economy with record high unemployment numbers, and all of this during one of the most tumultuous times in human history.

In our next Critical Dialogue, we will chat to a panel of young people and ask them how they see the path to economic recovery in South Africa. They’ll share with us the steps they’ve taken within their communities to contribute positively to the development of the country and to uplift those around them.

Tune in on our Facebook page or YouTube channel on 17 June 2021, at 7pm.
