ABOUT STUDENT

My name is Manducha, I am a 33 years. I grew up in Hillbrow with my widowed mother and two siblings.

In 2016 my husband and I felt that it was time for me to pursue my life-long dream of studying towards a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Community Development.

I chose to study the programme because of my passion for the well-being of people. I love working with people and finding ways to make communities better.

A tertiary qualification will mean a great deal to me and for my family because it will not only mean I am the first person to obtain a degree but also the first woman to have to obtain a tertiary qualification in our family.
