I grew up in Rocklands, Mitchells Plain, in my grandmother’s house. For 7 years I stayed with my mother, aunt, uncle and grandmother.

I am an only child and currently live with my mother in Salt River. I am passionate about things close to my heart and for me, that is being there for people. I am a Sunday school teacher and during the holidays I volunteer at the Red Cross Children’s Hospital and I am also actively involved as a volunteer at the Green School in Pinelands.

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology to become a Clinical Psychologist but my end goal is to hold a PhD. I want to understand why children bully each other and understand the impact of trauma from a victim’s perspective.

The reason why I chose this field of study is for me to be able to be there for people and be able to help them in a correct and professional manner.
