COURSE DESCRIPTION
The FIA course is the basic introduction to analysis in the political, security and developmental context. Participants will:
- Understand the systemic context in which Crime Analysis is conducted
- Have basic critical and contextual reasoning skills
- Be able to access, utilize and critically evaluate Open Sources in their analytic work
- Be able to apply a range of analytic techniques to operational, strategic and investigative analysis
- Be able to write an insightful analytic briefing and conduct an analytic presentation
