Cornerstone Institute is hosting an indoor market and picnic, combined with a sing-a-long, to mark the annual “Christmas at Cornerstone” celebration on 15th of December.

This is a great opportunity to come together with a group of friends and family before the hectic festive season gets into full swing.

The market provides for the sale of home-made gifts and food. You are also welcome to bring your own picnic basket.

A definite highlight of the evening is the Rosa Choir Project’s performance alongside James Bhemgee, our own Cape Flats’ Pavarotti. They will invite the audience for a sing-a-long of Christmas Carols and other familiar tunes. The Rosa Choir Project is a diverse group, singing traditional songs in English, isiXhosa and Afrikaans –an initiative of the Cape Cultural Collective which was formed in 2012. James Bhemgee is a former street sweeper who won SA’s Got Talent contest in 2010. Today he performs with the Cape Flats Tenors.
